“Lighting, to me, is never just functional—it’s deeply emotional. I carefully curated each fixture with materials like glass, brass, and stone, layering in natural textures that feel both grounded and luminous. Every finish throughout the home was selected with intention, not only for how it looks today, but for how it will live, age, and evolve over time. I want these choices to spark joy daily, to feel collected rather than installed, and ultimately to become heirlooms—pieces that carry meaning and can be passed down to the next generation.”
Nestled on a tree-lined block in the heart of Park Slope, this historic townhouse underwent a full gut renovation, thoughtfully restoring its brownstone character while introducing a modern, livable layout.
The Garden level was transformed into a private residence for live-in grandparents, creating a seamless multigenerational home. The Parlor floor was designed for gathering and everyday living, while the Second floor became a private primary suite with an office. The top floor was dedicated to the children, with bedrooms and a playroom, and the finished cellar added storage and a home gym.
The interior design was carried throughout every level, with comprehensive FF&E selections, custom furniture, bespoke millwork, and refined detailing, alongside the careful preservation and restoration of original woodwork in select areas—bringing warmth, cohesion, and a distinctly tailored character to the home.
The construction scope included full structural, mechanical, and electrical upgrades, ensuring the home was modernized from within while preserving its historic integrity.
